Having built and remodeled fine homes for over four decades, Scott Rogers, principal of Heartwood Builders, can lay claim to a lot of experience.
Armed with a degree in Architecture, Scott went on to work as a contractor with some of San Francisco's best known architects. This background has proved invaluable in understanding the development of the design and construction processes and the execution of skilled craftsmanship to exceed his clients' needs and expectations.
Residing now in Washington County, Oregon, for many years, Scott's building style is as distinctive to Oregon as his homes are to Scott.
Responsible building practices are an extension of Scott's experience and philosophies. This starts with conscientious design using passive and active conservation methods and follows through the saving and reusing of materials and investing in well researched, energy efficient building products.
